BMS and HMI graphics for controls contractors

Operator screens for building controls contractors, BMS integrators and industrial automation firms. You keep the engineering, we produce the graphics, so handover isn't waiting on screens. Prices agreed in writing before we start.

Who it's for

Controls contractors and systems integrators whose engineers programme the controllers but also end up drawing the screens. Graphics are often the last thing finished on a job, done by whoever is free, and they hold up commissioning and handover. We take that work off your engineers' desks, per project or on retainer.

What we design

Plant screens

AHUs, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, pump sets and heat exchangers, with live values placed on the equipment they belong to.

Site and building overviews

Navigation pages, status summaries and plant room maps.

Floor plans

Zone coloured plans with temperatures, setpoints and occupancy, linked to the terminal units.

Terminal unit screens

VAV, FCU, chilled beam and underfloor heating pages, with templates that repeat cleanly across hundreds of boxes.

Alarm and trend pages

Alarm summaries with severity, filters and acknowledgement, and trends with sensible scales and comparison views.

Dashboards

Energy, comfort and KPI pages for facilities managers and their clients.

Symbol libraries

A consistent set of equipment symbols, state colours and animation states you can reuse on every job.

Graphics standards

A short standard for colours, fonts, layout and status, so screens look the same whoever builds them.

Industrial HMI

Machine and process screens for panel builders and OEMs, to the same conventions.

Sample screens

Designed by us as demonstrations of the standard, not client work. Colour is kept for meaning, values sit next to the equipment they belong to, and every page shares the same navigation, so an operator at a panel can read plant state at a glance.

Sample AHU overview screen: plant schematic with live values on the equipment, setpoint controls, active alarms and an 8 hour supply temperature trend. Watermarked Sample.

Sample VAV terminal unit floor screen: eight zone floor plan with temperatures, setpoints, damper positions and reheat status, a unit table and a detail strip for the alarmed box. Watermarked Sample.

What you get

Ready to bind

  • Finished assets at panel resolution, in SVG and PNG.
  • The editable sources.
  • A point to graphic map, so your engineer can bind points quickly and without rework.
  • One round of revisions on every screen.
  • Everything is yours once it's paid for.

For the platform you use

Assets in the formats your front end imports, including Niagara 4, Trend IQVISION, Desigo CC, EcoStruxure Building Operation, Metasys, WebCTRL, Distech, Delta, Reliable Controls and Alerton. Native builds in the vendor tool on request, after a short scoping call with your engineer.

What we don't do

Controller programming, commissioning or site work. Your engineers keep the logic, we keep them off the drawing board.

Background

We come from control interfaces, not web design. Our background is in HMI screens for ABB robot arms and for pneumatic control rigs, with a grounding in mechatronics, so we design for an operator standing at a panel, not for a brochure. We understand points lists and sequences of operations, and what an engineer needs to bind a graphic without rework.

Prices agreed in writing

Every job has a fixed quote, per screen, per set or on a monthly retainer, paid upfront or against your purchase order before work starts. Retainers are paid monthly in advance.

Send Ben a points list and a sequence of operations for one plant item, with your platform and target screen resolution. We'll come back with a fixed price, usually the same day.
